If you are not completely delighted with your purchase, simply contact us within 14 days of your original purchase date and you can return your item to us for a full store credit (custom orders, sale items and closeout items are non-returnable). You can use your store credit to purchase any items we have in stock which are listed on our website (excluding sale items and closeouts) – store credit cannot be used to purchase non-stock items and custom designs. Returned items must be accompanied with the original receipt and store credit must be used within 30 days from the date you returned the item.
Diamonds are considered to be the hardest natural substance on the earth, but they can still be damaged or chipped if they are hit with an impact. Prongs, mountings and settings can easily be bent or altered if hit or simply snagged on a piece of clothing or other fabric. This can cause stones to become loose and even fall out. Fine diamond jewelry is extremely valuable and should be treated accordingly by the user. Therefore, Shay’s Diamonds will not be responsible for any damage that may occur to an item after the sale is made.
Items returned for store credit must be in their original new condition and cannot be damaged or show any signs of wear or usage. Damaged items cannot be returned (damage includes, but is not limited to; scratches; dents; dings; engraving; missing stones; broken stones; loose stones; exchanged stones; welds; sizing or service not performed by us and any like issues). Shay’s Diamonds will not be responsible for any damage that may occur to an item after the sale is made. We do not perform free repair service or issue refunds, replacement or store credit for any damaged items regardless of how the damage occurred. When an item is returned and a different item is purchased using store credit, the new item purchased with the store credit cannot be returned again – this guarantee applies only to original purchases and does not apply to items that have been purchased using store credit.
Quality Control:
Before any item is sold at Shay’s Diamonds, it must first go through a detailed double-check inspection process by two different inspectors in our quality control department. Inspections are performed using a 30X loupe magnifier along with other jeweler’s tools to make sure that there is absolutely no damage to your jewelry item and that there are no stones, diamonds or gems missing or loose at the time of sale. The inspectors also verify that there are no bends or dents in the item or metal and they make sure that all diamonds and gems are genuine and authentic. If a certificate is provided with the item, then they also verify that the certificate matches the item being sold. A final inspection for quality assurance is then made to make sure that each item shows no visible signs of wear, usage or damage.
